I will let everyone know once we know about Wendy's condition and what track she will be trying to attend to make this pass. I want as many members as possible to know so they can be there to meet Wendy and I. I will give as much time possible to let everyone know in advance.

Brain took Wendy's car down the road with the slicks on it. Know that the tags are dead and no seatbelts at the time. He said the car spun 1st, 2nd, 3rd and AEM read RICH. This was at 25PSI. No tuning has been done on the car, STEVE92TALON sent a base tune ( same setup on a different car except turbo) and thats what he drove on. Goal is 35PSI and upper 500 HP range. I will post videos in the morning after the car gets tuned.:D

Thank you all!

Best wishes,
Brad Pate

Car is covered in dust, it has been inside for 3 months. Also, the flat black paint.

Hell Yea!!!:hellyeah:

Thanks for sharing! 464whp is not bad at all. I think it'll be well over the 500hp mark at the next session. :applause:

I'm sure Wendy's going to love to see that video. :)

I reposted the video on DSMP for ya Brad. ;)

HUGE THANKS to Jason Wier and John Wigger for taking time off from their jobs to help out. Also, Jordan Watson of National Speed for the dyno time and Justin helping with tuning.

Wendy was able to see the car Dyno'd today. She had a decent day, I tell you it was because of the car! She has her nerve block tomorrow at 11AM. We are so excited. She will hopefully be able to drive soon.:D

Best wishes,
Brad Pate

I am sure I speak for Jason as well when I say it was our pleasure. Hope to see Wendy behind the wheel at the track soon.

Most of the morning was spent working with 2 problems first being car acted like it was hitting the rev limiter at 7k and 2 the boost would not move. Who knew on this boost controller, - not + was more boost. And it had a very poor ability to control boost it would creep from 23psi @ 4500 rpm to 29 by 8K pretty linearly. Boost came on fast 3800rpm would be full boost on a real boost controller making for a very broad power band. First problem was with the breaking up was spark blow out, once we got the boost to move it would blow out sooner. We think it has a weak coil but with the plugs gapped to 18 it went away. We will try another coil and if needed wires to remedy this.

With the boost coming on so strangely we did not take the time to flatten out the A/F completely and fine tune things. Once there is a real boost controller we will see what it will do. Honestly I somewhat worry about the bolt on bulleseye housing and it ability to carry the power way out but we will see. Car is already making decent power. As a comparison on this same dyno the dyno operator's full interior civic coupe made 428 and runs mid 10's@130mph, as well as Jason's DD awd talon makes low 600s and runs 9.70s.

Look forward to seeing you on Tuesday and seeing what we can finish up with.

John

545hp 420tq and 2320LBS (corner scaled it today), should run ok. Fuel map will need some more tweaking but its getting much closer. I will let Brad post any details he wants to, Car has a FLAT tq curve and should run well.

Great job to all that contributed & supported this effort:rocks:. That's enough power to accomplish the goal:hellyeah:.
