ghost lettering eclipse lettering

i want to take my eclipse letters off my taillights but i am afraid of ghost lettering anyone else done this

Both of my dsms have the eclipse lettering removed. No problem. That might be a more common issue with decals on a actual painted surface.

If you do have ghosting, you can wetsand with 2000 grit and polish it out quite easily. Treat it just like a headlight.

I just did mine last week and no ghost lettering.I bought the paint at autozone and it came out pretty good it gave the car a better look
