Nice setup. One question though, Any reason why you kept the stock oil cooler?

You can put that greddy adapter which happens to be an oil filter sandwich adapter too in place of the stock oil cooler. Block off the water lines to the oil cooler and take off the threaded bushing/nut that holds the oil cooler. If you look at your setup the greddy adapter actually bolts in the same way as the stock oil cooler does. Its up to you, you can keep it or you can remove it. Remove it and youll have more clearance to your downpipe also.yup talon said:What do you mean? Is there a way i could ahve installed it without the stock one? I didnt have the time to install this so i had a shop do it, they said it needed to re-use the stock location.
snox135 said:If you still are using the stock oil cooler on your car and the Greddy unit has a thermostat like it should. I doubt if you are using your Greddy cooler 95% of the time. But you did say the stock one was broke, so I would just take it off there all together
WatchItExplode said:SlowSpyder, are those the stock lines? Do they attach to the oil cooler like stock or did you need to buy different fittings?
EDIT: Nevermind I'm an idiot. So this sandwich adapter, how does it work?
