gauges stop working while driving....

Sometimes while driving (or as soon as i start the car) the power in the gauges goes out, then back on, then out etc. The power windows also stop working when this happens. I also notice the SRS light on every now and then... what's going on?!

The lights always work, but the actually RPM functioning and speedometer stop reading, as well as the power windows stop working.

sounds like a short. does it do it when you go over bumps or turn? what about on a smooth straight-away? then pull out the ol' chilton and check out the wiring diagrams. or print them out. i think there is a link on the vfaq or 1000qs website.

yah Ide say a Short somewere. sucks man, those can be a real pain in the ass.
