Finally got my car running....now my freaking gauges dont work all of them except for the speedo only aftermarket gauge i got is boost which doesnt work now either same with tach, oil temp, water temp, stock boost.

checked all fuses they were all fine my dash lights still work just no readings in the gauges....do i have to pull the whole dash to find out the problem? i'm really bad with wiring :/

Is the speedo cable hooked to the tranny? Have you checked to see if the cluster itself is hooked up. Check the speedo cable there too. I had one break right behind the cluster. I have a good working cluster if yours isnt working. Pm me if you need it. Also check to see if you have the sensors for the gauges hooked up right.

Could this be why my tach doesnt work? there is no metal plug thing and could anybody tell me where the wires are located for the gauge cluster in the engine bay?

and why dont my brake lights work?

No that looks fine. The temp sensor is located on the thremostat housing. The oil pressure sensor is on the oil filter housing. Whats the speedo cable look like? Was it hooked up?

yeah the speedometer works just none of the other gauges

yup honestly starting to not like dsms......it died on me for a few weeks and had to replace CAS coil pack now my battery keeps dieing none of my gauges work my brake lights dont work its hesitant to pull and back fires....

I would say change the sensors then. They are pretty cheap. One at a time and see if that gauge works after changing the sensor. If that doesnt work I would try replacing the gauge cluster. Just hope its something simple and not an electrical problem. What shape is your engine harness in?

What did you do to the car before this happened?

That may help explain what may of happened. I'm having an issue with my 1G (93) as well with the tach not working after I got done doing some mods.

What mods did you do? I figure its just something not hooked up right or not at all and or bad sensors.

Ignition system (COP & Ignition box) and completely replaced the whole fuel system.

I'm thinking my issue is something to do with the Ignition system. I'm not getting any change in voltage from the ECU pin going to the tach. But Link V3 is getting a signal and reads RPM's.
