Ok so im pretty much a newbie when it comes to DSM's, but im willing to learn by trying, dont want to take it to a dealer for everything. Anyway i bought an aftermarket tach and a boast gauge, now im going to mount them on the left near the A piller (not on the a piller) but in two mounting cups near it, i plan on drilling threw the dash to run the wires into the opening behind the stock gauges, now i have the bezzal and the stock gauges pulled out, and i have three plugs behind it. Now i come to the hard part im sure, behind witch plug are the wires for the tach? and what wire? where can i tap into power for the two gauges? also i would like to run them into the dimmer, what would be the easyest way? also one other thing, where is the best place to tap into the vac system on the car for the boast gauge? and easyest way to run the tubing threw the firewall for it?
