on my air fuel ratio gauge there are five wires coming out of it.... (1 red 1 black) light i think... then three more wires, red black and blue... i have the first 2 wires hooked up to the dimmer, but im a little confused the o2 sensor wire behind the passenger kick panel, is that supposed to have one or 3 wires? only free female conector i can find has 3wires is that the one i hook it up to?

Hang on a minute. This thing has five wires, and two of red and two of black, along with one blue. Am I reading that right?

If so, one red and black are power and ground, and the blue is for the O2 signal. Maybe someone could shed some light on the other red and black wires?

Also, you can tap into the O2 sensor signal wire on your ECU. There's a VFAQ pinout.

yes u read it right, and btw the (what i think is the o2 sensor wire) has one blue one green and one black wire...

i cant see where these wires go, cuz of all the tape... id perfer not to get into the ecu if i can just do it through theo2 sensor wire... i just wanna know if what i am looking at is actually the o2 sensor wire in which im hooking the gauge up to, yes it is three different colored wires that go into a single female output

Check it with a voltmeter, best way to know what you're actually tapping.

What kind of brand of A/F gauge is that? Usually they only have 3 wires.

2 of the wires are for the indeglo light, 2 are to power the LEDs, and 1 is to the o2 sensor....... i think...... now im having trouble finding the o2 sensor wire under the dash

i was right 2 powered the indeglo.... i hooked them up to the dimmer

2 powered the LEDs.... i hooked them up to the stero power and ground

and one for the o2 sensor wire.... the guy who taped up all the wires below the dash was a real dick, he wrapped the plug so tight and so thick with about a million other wires i had to cut and cut and cut to actually get to it.... not to mention how hard it was to find in the first place....

anyways thx for the help, all is working now!
