Gauge cluster problem

I am tryin to hook my airfuel up...i was told that u can install it behind the gauge cluster...but when i took off the cluster there was metal and three outlet things that sends signals to the cluster....how can i move that out....or where is the box that i need to tap the 3 wires into...

also...how do i light my boost gauge? can i remove the center console to get to the cig lighter? thanx.....please help, im trying to do this now...

Not sure about the A/F gauge, but I have my boost gauge lit by the cig. lighter's light. I just cut the wire leading to the cig. bulb and ran some wire up to the gauge. That light only comes on when the parking/driving lights are on, and it works like a champ. Plus, I never really cared for that little light anyway.
