okay so i need some help , iv had my gst for a few months and iv put some work into it , and it was pretty trashed when i got it and iv completly turned it around , now my problem is that one day my cluster went completly out, now the lights and everything come on with the parking lights and stuff and the blinker lights and brights work but the needles dont move at all then some times they will just come on randomly and then go out or they will just go crazy , iv had no probs with the car but this and whats really got me confused is that when the guages dont work the windows, rear defrost and ac dont work ???? im new to wireing but somethings not right so no hate replys i just need some help thanks alot

have you tried taking out the cluster to see if anything i loose or making a short? was this happening since you got the car or after you fixed it?

sounds like a ground issue or a short to ground, probably in-between the steering column and the cluster. does your radio work when all of this is happening? are you talking about ac not working or the blower motor?

Is it just the speedometer and tachometer or all the needles? Check the connections at your fuse box and fuses. As well as the ones on your cluster. Since there is multiple things going squirrely at once sounds like one big plug somewhere being loose or your losing your grounds . A wiring schematic should help in locating where your grounds are. Good Luck.

yes it did it the day i got the car, but then they came up an hour later and worked for a few weeks then went out for a day or two then out again and and now they work when they wanna , i have took the cluster out checked all the plugs , and checked the fuses so it looks like i am going to have to just tear into it because its getting kind of annoying but thanks guys
