hey, i have a 92 awd with cruise control. my gas pedal has play, meaning that if i go under my dash and wiggle the gas pedal as if i were depressing it, i can wiggle it back and forth about a half an inch before the cable actually moves. meaning that when i drive the car, i depress the gas about half an inch before the cable moves like it is supposed to. I'm looking at the top of the pedal assembly where the cable is held into the pedal assembly by the metal ball at the end of the cable. what i actually see is the metal ball coming in and out of its hole where its supposed to be in the pedal. i can push the cable tight like its supposed to be, so i'm hoping its only an adjustment. it is NOT the 2 throttle cable adjustment screws on the intake manifold. i already tried that. those do not affect this play at all. please help me.
