just redid my clutch master cylinder.. now its weaker then it was and dont seem to hit the piston rod until i almost hit the floor.. ive bleed it and bleed it and rebleed it? and its still soft??

what am i doing wrong< my clutch engaged(when i finally built pressure) before i changed out the master..

it doesnt seem to have proper pedal travel, i hit pressure when im almost to the floor could my bushings in my pedal assembly be bad, but like i said that would have been something i noticed before i changed it>?

When you say you redid your clutch master,do you mean you rebuilt it,or put a new/reman one on?
Why did you replace it or rebuild it?

Also look underneath while a friend pushes on the clutch and see how far the slave cylinder rod is moving.

yea no leaks,, ive adjusted it all the way out right now(im touching the T.O.B) going to put it back in some... yes no leaks< im looking aroun i dont see any fluid coming out of the master where it connects to the line... down on the slave bleeder valve is closed unless where the line connects to the slave is loose. I remember i snapped the banjo bolt because the old one was leaking.. Ill give it a feww turns, but no i dont think i have any leaks<

thats the one i have all the way backed out, its all the way beacuase when i tried to turn on the car could hear my TOB so i immedetly shut it off.

ummm, it was the same master by lucas JAPAN that was in it and i put the rod in the clevis exactly like the other one i took out<

then how do you remove it... ive done the conventional bleeding, 5 pumps(open and close bleeder) release pedal... ive done the one where you take a hose and put it on the valve and put the other end of the hose in the resavor. pumped the shit out of it.

it seems like i dont have enough pedal travel to get all the air out of the master... IDK im at a stand still with this> im confused one of the most easiest things to do and ive done it the right way.. it seems like bushings and that one piece that connects to the spring is stripped but that would have been there before i did the master

yea when i depress the pedal and release it springs up but i have to put my foot under it and pull it the rest of the way up like it gets stuck a quater way into the pedal.. how do i solve this cheaply (no welder)

how do i add a vid?

huh... i did that, thats why im posting.

its like im not gettn enough of actual pedal to get it all the air out>

I had to bleed mine quite a bit after installing a complete SS clutchline. Also, check the fitting at the clutch master and follow all the way down the line to the slave cylinder with your hand to make sure your not losing any fluid in between,or at the fitting.

it sounds like your cultch pedal is loose. ther is a 14mm bolt on the cultch pedal some where. It should just be loose.

if your looking at the assembly the left side or right side of the rod? if its the nut your talking about that sits right above the brakets where the srping is at.. i tightend that, but could it be stripped? should i take it off and put a new washer there?

nope not at the fitting..

no leaks anywhere<

thanks for yalls help but didnt solve the prob... ill wait til tues have a friend coming over to look at it<

 still havin this issue????????? i wanna know what makes the pedal super soft after i did the master cylinder??? its bleed?? like a kajillion tuimes.

got my assembly out and found out that the rod is ate up and warped.... could that be why its so soft is ### the rod is just twisting on the lever for the master? ??
