If there are 2 holes bout the size of a dime each punched in 97 gsx gas tank, dose any one know "for sure" if its safe to patch and how.

LOL me either till I was pullin it from the junk yard... where they so thoughtfully cut holes in the tank to drain the gas.

Suhweet. And its safe? still running your patched tanked? Not just quick fix but good for the life of the car?

Did you try and jack up your car where the gas tank is? ( How did you get 2 holes in it) LOL

JB Weld won't stick, and doesn't like gasoline all the time if it would. However, a dirt bike shop should have or know someone who can do plastic welding, for repairing fenders and tanks.

JB weld does stick, I did one car over 1 1/2 years and its still going strong. Try a panel shop they may do plastic welding also and that would be the preferred method of fix.
