so my gas tank leaks when its over half full, so i decided to buy a new one(200$ :notgood: ) and since I have the tank out i figure i might as well go with the warblo 190 fuel pump. So my question is, do I have to rewire it with heavier gauge wire, and should i get a AFPR? i don't really want to get a AFPR if i don't have too. right now I have the tank out and im waiting for the new tank and fuel pump. I took some pics of the gas tank removal and i could possibly do a how to for the 1G FWD fuel pump install if i have time and if anyone would get any use out of it.

No, you don't have to rewire it, but it does help with extra flow if you need it.

General consensus is that you don't need an AFPR with a 190, but it's not a bad idea. You can use it to tune with.

While your down there, spend the extra time to re-wire it, the right way, no half assed jobs, youd be surprised it will help. Generally people dont run AFPR's w/ 190's, as they really arent needed, but they definetly are needed w/ a 255.

thanks for the relpies :thumb: hopefully I'll have it back together soon.

ok, so i thought i had a new gas tank but it turn out it was for an AWD. anyone know where i can get a new tank for my 91 FWD turbo?

Call Mitsubishi Recycling - 1-800-695-4700. They had a tank for my GVR-4 pretty decently priced compared to the dealership and shipped it quickly. Hope this helps - Mike :)

i just found a tank from a local junk yard the other day. but thanks for the replies.
