Gas coming out from the manifold

Hi Guys,
I was driving down the road and then suddenly, my car start to act like I dropped a cylinder and it started to release white smoke from the exhaust. I immediately returned home and found my exhaust manifold wet of gas. There is no oil leak.
I am thinking that one of the injectors has gone bad. Any ideas?

Sounds more likely to be an injector seal leak than the actual injector or the manifold. Check to make sure all of the injectors are seated properly.

You also said exhaust manifold? If there was fuel on that it would have started a fire with you driving the car. Fuel would also evaporate before you'd be able to see it on the exhaust manifold if it was hot.

could be an injector seal get all new ones replace them all

yea definately sounds like your injector imploded...
pull the injectors and then pull the head to check for bent valves/injector scrap and clean it out

White smoke is usually water vapor. Blue smoke is oil. Black smoke is fuel. Sounds like a cracked head ;(

I certainly hope not. Can't afford to get a new head now. But I will have to deal with what ever the outcome is.

What makes you think it is fuel?
And how would you explain fuel making it's way to the other side of the engine, extenally?

Head gasket? Do a boost leak test, and compression test. If its injector seals a boost leak test will show. Better yet is to have the car running and poor some water on the injector seals to see if they're leaking. I wouldn't think injectors seals if your getting white smoke though...

Swapped out my 850cc back to my 560cc and everything was ok. 1 on the 850's was stuck int he open position. I sent them to injector clinic and had them clean, flow tested.
