Winnipeg,
I searched but couldnt find a clear answer.

Im lookin at a 6bolt motor from a FWD car (91) and it will be going into the place of a 7bolt AWD (93).

Will it just drop in or will i need differant motor mounts? I know ill need a 6bolt AWD flywheel, anything else?

It should drop right in. because you are using the same gen models so i don't see why it wouldn't fit right in. You can use either tranny i believe. If you have awd it will stay an awd car. No matter if that motor is fwd u still have the tranny and transaxles for the awd so no problem there.

I actually have a 6 bolt from a 91 Talon TSi AWD, just make sure you swap the flywheels. The two flywheels between the engines are different

Thanks guys, i was pretty sure, but i wanted to be for sure for sure before i did it. Someone said the engine mounds were a little differant on the FWD and AWD cars. Tranny is staying, just the motor being swaped, so i guess all i need is the AWD flywheel. :thumb:
