fwd clutch replacement??

ok i just made my mind on putting my clutch in my self cant realy get the money for someone to do it..how hard is it to do it with a buddy.is it like a doin it on a honda with a b18 or is it harder???what all do i need to take off.step by step instructions would be greatly appreiciated

Anytime. Just check the Tech section, there are a ton of write ups in there for pretty much anything you can think of.

It's a pretty straight forward process, I was able to do it by myself balancing the transmission on my chest.

1. Remove anything attached to the transmission (bolts, wires, slave cylinder, speedo cable etc.)
2. Drain transmission fluid
3. While the fluid is draining, remove the axles, I fond it easy to unbolt the 2 bolts holding the strut to the knuckle and then just pulling down on the knuckle and removing the axle.
4. Replace the drain bolt and begin unbolting the starter, there's two bolts that hold it onto the transmission
5. Remove the transmission to engine bolts (3) and engine to transmission bolt (1) located in the back.
6. Remove the one bolt that holds the bracket to the chassis
7. At this point you should have everything removed that you need in order to take the tranny off, so go ahead and remove it.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, people can step in.
