so im in the market for a set of lowering springs, everywhere i look they all say FWD only, i have a 90 talon tsi AWD so whats the difference? will they fit even though they say FWD only? i searched but came up with different reviews so not quite sure. thanks

ok so what vendor has AWD lowering springs? or other recomendations

The most common 1G springs were Eibach. They had the Pro-kit which was a mild drop and OEM-like ride, and the Sportline, which was a more aggressive drop and stiffer ride. Neither are available any longer, unfortunately. Your only options now are the Megans (which are the same for FWD and AWD so the rear tends to sit low on an AWD car), or Teins:

Tein S Tech Springs-1G AWD : JNZ Tuning

From there you can go to a coilover sleeve on the stock strut body, or step up to a "real" coilover setup.
