I ordered some FWD intrax springs from ebay but when i got them they were AWD i called the company that I bought them from and the guy guranteed me that they are the same the only reason there are different numbers is so intrax can make companies stock both? Is this true, b/c I want my car back on the road and if these wont work i need to send um back.

The rear springs from the factory are differant from each other. The rears on aftermarket springs are usually differant between FWD and AWD, but not always. You can try contacting other companies and asking them the differance, and see what they say.

I emailed tech support at intrax and ask if the spring rates and heights were the same for both 89-94 fwd and awd and his reply was........

Yes, both kits are made up of the same springs. They will work for either car. Thank you for choosing Intrax. - Ron

Those who have said that the STOCK springs for FWD v. AWD are indeed correct. However, for most aftermarket setups, the FWD v. AWD spring rates are pretty much the same . . .
