I concur. Fuses are designed to blow for a reason. CAUSE SOMETHING'S WRONG!!!! With dropping a 50A in instead of a 30A, you're essentially playing russian roulette with your car. Check your wiring harness along your EGR pipe. Make sure it hasn't melted anywhere.

okay thanks i only changed out the ciol and header after that it started giving me problems any more help
That's the reason that they are steering you toward the EGR area (didn't you also have an egr delete question?). When changing out those parts your arm tends to lean on that wiring harness (as well as the pig tail of your coil wires are attached to that harness).

In addition, because of the heat of the egr tube (and the proximity of the wiring harness), this particular harness has a history of cracking wires.

With that being said, if you are blowing out 30amp fuses don't put 50amp fuses back in. You are simply looking to start a fire or at least cause more damage.

In general, if you are losing battery power, its a ground problem, if you are shorting out (as in blowing fuses), it is a power wire problem. You have a live wire contacting a ground somewhere. You will need to do some wire searching. I would start with the battery wires first. Possibly the wire to the starter which is right near where your new header runs.

You probably moved/unplugged something accidentally. One time I just removed the intake and when I put it back on I couldn't start the car. Turns out, I accidentally unplugged this little wire.

WTF!!

Trace back your steps and see what you could've done wrong when installing the header.
