fuelcut.?

Fuel cut is exactly what it says, when your MAF reads more air coming through it then the ECU is used to it cuts fuel, I have hit fuel cut one and it feel like hitting a brick wall, I honestly thought it couldn't be that bad, but it slams your forward.

Ok so I had a discussion a few days ago about upping my boost from 11 to 15psi. Every one has told me I should be ok to up the boost. And when I tryed to get it to 15psi I went to 18 on acedent. When I hit full boost(18psi) it sounded like it hit a lower rev limiter. Not that violent movement you guys are explaining to me.
would it be fuel cut?

I hit fuel cut at 14psi.

I don't think you can judge by psi when you are going to hit fuel cut.. I hit 23psi on a 13g and didn't get cut..I was just figuring out how to work my boost controller..Good thingI had an eye on the boost gauge.Long story short the 13g didn't last long after that..

True, I know people that have never hit fuel cut on a stock motor and I have hit it at 14 lbs, when I have spiked 19 with no issues.

I am having a problem that def. feels like fuel cut, but i never get the chance to build boost. Just done balance shaft removal. Refurbished stock motor, all new gaskets,hoses.....1st test drive today. If i gradually hit the pedal it eventually bucks hard(like hitting a wall). If i hit the pedal aprox. 10% and hold it there, it does not. In neutral, you can rev the car fine with no problems. Everything is stock, injectors, turbo, fuel pump. No emissions................I am NEVER under ANY boost when this happens..... Any insight appreciated thank you.

Day 2 on problem solving.....not the t.p.s.. tested and is functional. even switched it out with another one just in case......Still clueless
