Fuel Trim Bank 1 twice... fuel pump noise?

Well I went to the auto parts store to see what my CEL was on for. Fuel trim bank 1 was pulled twice. Now the reason I put fuel pump noise is because to my knowledge the fuel pump wasn't upgraded but it makes a whining sort of noise and from searching, thats what upgraded pumps do. Could this be causing my car to run rich hence the code?

What was the actual code. PO170: Fuel Trim Bank 1? It might be your front 02 sensor. Could be an exhaust leak before the 02, It could be too much boost, Going lean. It could be a few things. I guess you could have a bigger fuel pump and not know it too. If that were the case you would get fuel pressure regulator overun.Do you have a logger?

I do not have a logger. I'm pretty new to this stuff. Also I can smell a strong exhaust smell when the windows are open or the sun roof so I think theres a leak somewhere in the front. But I do think I have a bigger pump with no aftermarket regulator like you said.
