okay back again i'm again with boosting them 20psi on my 420a.i'm planning on going with 850cc fuel injectors and 255walbro fuel pump with 12:1fuel pressure regulator tunning it with a afc would that get me to the 20psi?oh and what is an evo and sti boosting?

whats a E-MANAGE ULTIMATE? does it tune up ## car so that u wont have to mess with the fuel pressure regulator injectors AFC and such?

Okay man, you won't 850cc injectors are way over kill, and probably won't work with a piggy back like the emange. I'd say 550cc are about the limit on a piggy back.

Read this page and I mean all of it then come back with some good questions. we'll help you out, but we want to get ya to learn what everyone here already knows by searching and reading.

Ok few things.

The 12:1 fuel Riser is not a good option with injectors larger than 300cc/min. 850cc are a bit large, depending on your turbo you should be looking at 625-720cc. I have 550cc injectors with a 50trim turbo and i am maxed out at 15psi.

20psi on a FMU isnt going to happen, you will have a load of issues mostly raw fuel blowing out your muffler. You can do this with a SFMU and E-manage and use the 4:1 disk setup with 625cc injectors. The larger your turbo is the larger your injectors will need to be. PSI is not equal in say a 16g to a 20g (40trim garrett to 50trim Garrett). Air flow rates affect your injector size as well.

The E-manage ultimate is a glorified E-manage. The Emanage is similer to the SAFC but it has more capabilities like spark control, which we cannot use. I know of one person working with an Emanage ULTIMATE on 2gnt and i dont know if he ever got it to work right. The Emanage has been used very well by a few members on 2GNT. Jamesman is very knowledgable on the Emanage and still runs it today.

Another option is the 8 injector setup or Megasquirt. The decision depends on your goals, where you live (emissions/Inspections), and your capabilities.

For the money you will spend in SFMU and Emanage, you can go with a complete MS setup permitting you have a laptop or a used 8 injector setup. Both require laptops though.

Another topic is to consider a wideband, for anything higher than 10psi, i urge you to get one if you dont have one.

Edited: above see Emanage Ultimate

Hey Terry, now you know another person running the emange on DSMTuners. ME! LOL

Yes true Rand, I remember that now. However when I said one person running the emanage I meant the Ultimate which I edited.

There have been a few people that have run it and as far as fuel goes, it works fine.

Sorry I posted with that error, my post contradicted itself, I fixed it.

um... sorry but no... and with a question like that are you SURE you really want to do this. I don't mean to be knockin you but do yourself a favor and do ALOT of research and hopefully you'll only have to do things once or twice. GOOD LUCK :thumb:

What I meant was would a turbo kit from a 4g63 engine fit in a 420a engine by changing the exhaust manifold?

Possibly, but there will be quite a few components missing from it.

There have been quite a few threads about this already; try searching for "420A turbo kit."

I have they cost more then a 420a engine ### would be missing tho?

Okay, I just got jacked. This guy is a fraud took my money no turbo kit came so now I have to build my own. Can you people recheck my list to make sure I have everything I need for a t3/t/4 turbo?

Hopefully I can boost 15psi at first till I get my fuel system built and what times do you think I would be getting, engine is built?
turbocharger
manifold
walbro 255 fuel pump
missing link
oil return lines
oil feedlines
intercooler with piping
turbo timer
boost controller
AFC
down pipe
gauges
injectors
fuel pressure regulator

Am I missing anything ?

Also I'm assuming you've got a built motor ready to handle more than 8psi.

P.S. You might want to edit the "down pimp" I know we all know what you meant, but I'm trying really hard to resist the urge to crack a joke about it.

+1 for down pimp ROFL

does anyone know anything about the flame thrower?or the nitrous coming out the fenders? on the flame thrower would it loser power if such thing would to be put on?and on nitrous how would i do such thing to make it come out the fenders?

You want a flame thrower, put a spark plug in your ricer can LOL...as for the nitrous out of the fenders, it's a purge kit as stated in the above post.

As for the flame thrower, Search for an episode of TRUCKS where stacy puts a flame thrower on a truck.

It looks simple enough but, i'm sure it doesn't always work that way.

You need a coil pack and spark plug installed near the tail pipe wired to a push button switch in the dash. You'll also need that switch to cut out the spark up front to all fuel to get through the tail pipe and be burned. (not the best thing for your motor)

I'm sorry, but is this thread even real?

If this guy is, in fact, a legitimate member of this community, then he or she needs to :

A) Make more of an effort to use the search. This is not a blog thread where you post any half-assed idea that comes to mind and then make a PBJ while the regulars answer them.

B) Slow down and make a better effort at posting in proper English. The space bar and shift key are not OPTIONAL in technical forums.

Thank you. (This thread makes my eyes bleed a little.)
