Well i recently got a 255LPH in Tank 140psi fuel pump. Also got a aftermarket FPR. The more i read about the FPR and FMU it bugs me. I've already installed the fuel pump and put in a new fuel filter and left the stock FPR on.

Since i got a 99 eclipse gs, all that is located by the fuel tank under the passanger door.

My main question is do i remove the stock FPR and mount the aftermarket one in the engine bay. Or can i just run the aftermarket with the stock already on?

Fuel filter and regulator above that.

booth setups are fine you dont need two fpr's if your aftermarket one is a name brand you trust go for it if its not put it on and take it easy to make sure it will do the job right

Don't run both - that is unless you never intend on being able to lower the fuel pressure below 50. If that is the case, then you don't need an aftermarket FPR then.
