ECMlink Fuel Sliders close to maxed?

Ok.

1. I have not done a BLT and I know I have small leaks
2. My LTFT's are off. 12.5 each

Heres my question, Right now with less air then I would w/o the leaks my fuel sliders are 3 notches below max, this gives me a 11.3 ish AFR on 93 pump at 12 psi.

If I fix my leaks, Ill have more air - thus need more gas to keep the same AFR's.

Will fixing my LTFT's cause me to lower my Sliders.

Cause I don't see my car running 20psi at ~11 AFR's with how high my sliders are right now...
 
I think you are a little confused here. Fuel trims are only used / updated at light cruise and idle, so looking at your WOT AFR's isn't going to tell you anything. Also, the fuel sliders in DSMLink are only active at WOT (Open Loop), not during closed loop. So you could move them all over the place and nothing will change at idle.

Is it possible for you to post a log at idle?

IM WOT at 11.2 AFR at 12PSI and my fuel sliders are 3 notches below the max.

Do they fuel sliders scale with AFR as I raise boost by 10 psi will my AFR stay the same or am I going to have to raise the sliders accordingly.

If I have to raise the sliders im so close to max right now I dont think ill have much room left.
 
Please re-read my initial post.

FT's are not used, nor are they updated at WOT. So your WOT FT's are worthless and can be ignored.

As the ECU meters more air, as it would with a boost pressure increase, it will increase fuel delivery proportionately. Your sliders might need to be adjust a little bit, but it's not going to be anything major.

Can you post a log?

Are you still running the stock fuel injectors? From your profile, I don't see upgraded injectors so I will assume you have stock one. If that is the case, then your fuel trims should be right on the spot because you'd have everything zeroed out.

If you are running the stock injectors, did you change your deadtime or global? If running upgraded injectors, have you properly adjusted the global and deadtime for them? Because if your fuel trims are off by the same amount, your global needs to be adjusted.

Other then that, do as spyderturbo007 said and post a log. A log can be much more detailed then words.
 
Global and deadtimes are my guess as well. And if you're on stock injectors that could very well be why you're "maxed ou" but i'm no expert on DSMlink, tuned and played with them but no expert

Sliders only effect WOT, if your FTs are off, you need to adjust your airflow sliders. Yes, post a fuel mod list, what MAF are you using. Are you going off an actual wideband and not the DSMlinks estimated AFR.
The amount of info you are supplying is like going to the doctor and saying, "I hurt" It doesn't give us much to work with. Where? how bad? internal? external? symptoms?

This is what I needed to know.

My sliders are just about MAX, I wanted to make sure that when more air was introduced the car would figure it out and I didnt have to adjust my sliders for the new air much beacuse I only have 3 notches left of room.
 
1) Per the DSMLink Wiki pages, your Global should be: -45%. And your deadtime should be: 420 µsec (plus or minus). Are those inline with what your settings are?

2) Post a log so the rest of us can further assist you.
 
You guys are correct, my global was at -53% and it should be at -45%.

JeffGST says 320 deadtime and DSMLink Tuning Wiki says 400+ for deadtime, so Im not sure what one to tune in.

Heres a log, Right now Im trying to dail in my fuel trims, LTFT Lo is nice but LTFT Mid is soo high.

Anyone have any help?

Decrease your deadtime a bit until you can get those LTFT's inline (Number must be divisible by 15). Once they get a bit closer tune them as close to zero as possible with the Hz sliders.

Zero he airflow sliders and decrease deadtime some. See if that gets your fuel trims closer. Give it a day of driving to update though.
