Fuel return line to Tank

I replace my whole fuel system with -6 lines, fuel rail, ect.. I had someone do the install for me. I go to start my car today and fuel is rushing out around my tank by the drivers side wheel. I pull the whole tank and notice that on the return line to the tank they did not use any AN fittings. It was just on the stock return tube held by a clamp. From the looking at it seem like there shouldn't be a problem with it setup like that.. Maybe the clamp is not small enough to squeeze the SS -6 line. If there is anybody who has done this mod.. How did you do it??

There are AN fittings to go from AN to a steel line (or your stock line) Earls and Russel carry them. You'll have to measure the hardline and check suppliers or local shops to order them. I guess you could try clamping it, but I would run the proper fitting.

Well I just used a small clamp for the time being. I will look into finding the fitting.

At least use a real fuel line clamp, not just a worm gear clamp.

A real fuel line clamp was used the 1st time. I guess it was too big.
