A while back I was workiong on the fuel rail and injectors, but when I was done putting them back in I realized I had a couple extra black plastic rings of sorts (no I haven't run it without them on). Well I just found them for SBR for $15, but I'm wondering exactly where do they go and how nessecary are they?

Sorry for the stupid question, I could look in my Haynes manual I know but it's a thousand miles away from me right now. Thanks in advance.

You know those three bolts that hold your fuel rail to the head and also hold the cruise control cable in place. Well those blakc spacers go between the rail and the head in those three spots and the bolt goes through them. Its so you dont overtorque the bolts and snap the rail I believe.

alright thats good, for a sec I thought they were to keep the injectors from spraying onto the head. Anybody else know that this is for sure what they are for?
