Quick question [fuel rail spacers]

Is their a gap where the fuel injector rail screws on to the manifold. What i mean exactly would be where the 3 bolts go in the injector to put it in to the block is their a gap or should it be touching.

There are plastic spacers that need to go in there. They hide when you drop them.

are you talking about the insulators that go at the end of the injectors? if its that i know what i was wondering. Well let me put it like this before i did not have the insulators and it would screw all the way down. Now i have them and the screws im using wont go all the way to the end. so is this normal is their a space in that area ill go get pics later if no one gets my question.

No I tried to find a picture of them but they are about 0.5" thick with 0.125" little lips that help secure between the rail and manifold when bolted together. about 1" round. I will try to find a picture of them. but yeah they are small.
