So I found this pump lightly used for CHEEP! I like it :) its an SX performance fuel pump capable of 1000hp in fuel injected engines. My question is will it be too much, or not reach a high enough pressure that i need? This fuel+flow=power stuff really confuses me. I found the page that has the graphs of flow, I just dont understand them... Sorry, im really not good with this stuff..

Il be running a journal bearing PR5857 and 1000+cc injectors with a Fuel lab AFPR, 6an or larger lines everywhere. Will this flow enough fuel iat a high enough pressure?

Thanks guys

If you DD your car I would not do it. The pump will be loud and obnoxious, along with over heat and burn up over time. Get a 255 and call it a day, Reliable, Cheap, Quiet.

Oh, kinda forgot to mention, Im shooting for 600awhp, im at 400 right now, I have a Fuel lab AFPR, and walbro 255. the 255 wont hit 600awhp. Any thoughts now? I dont care its crazy loud, and I dont think it will burn up.. change any minds?

I have the Jay Racing 341, at high boost (high fuel pressure) it way outflows the 255 and isn't that pricey either.

I was about the mention this pump.

If you dont want to put a 044 equivalent into you tank, maybe people have trouble fitting the 044, its 196mm tall (19.6cm), plus the filter at the end, the 341 is a great alternative. It will not flow as much, but it has the same install technique as the intank 255. I would get this pump intank and if you want more fuel in the future you can always install an inline pump. Inline 044 maybe. It would be my choice if you want a simple install with the stock hanger and no major modification.

This is a good read: http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?main_page=faq
