flywheel too big??

Are the fwd flywheels bigger than an awd's because I bought one about a year ago and now whenever I went to install it the flywheel was too big. So I went out and bought another awd one and it was certainly smaller than the one I had. All I want to know is if this is for a fwd turbo because they look exactly the same except it's bigger.

Yeah, the FWD's are a bigger flywheel.

Yes the AWD's are smaller than the FWD's in the 1G's so I would assume the same for the 2G's. They should look the same except the AWD should have a step(raised up section) where the flywheel bolts on that the FWD shouldn't have.

That's what I thought...I just wanted to know so when I go to sell it someone dosent get angry like I did.
