I re-wired my fuel pump useing the faq on plymouthlaser.com It's almost exactly the same as the one on VFAQ.com except the wires from 86 and 85 are reversed.
The way I have mine setup is as follows
87 - black and white wire fuel pump side
87a - nothing, but gets power when ignition is off
86 - black and white wire from harness
85 - ground
30 - new power line straight from battery with fuse not blown
I've checked with a volt meter I get power on the new line. When I hit the pump test on my datalogger I also can hear/feel the relay clicking over so the power inside should be switching.
When I connect the black and white wire ends together the car will start like it use to but I want to use the larger power wire I just spend time and money putting in. Does anyone see any wires I reversed or something or if the whole setup looks good please let me know either way this whole project has had me confused a little.
