The page does not display on vfaq. Does anyone have this saved on their hard drive that I can get a copy of?
Thanks

with my setup and running 18-20 psi would this upgrade really need to be done? Isn't it more for higher psi and injetors?

Its done to keep a consistant max voltage going to the pump. I didn't notice a difference with a 190 pump at 15psi boost, but I felt it was a good thing to do anyways. I gained a solid 2volts up from idle. I'm sure now that I have a 255hp running 25+psi boost it would make a difference.

If you have an aftermarket stereo amp in your trunk already, the rewire only really takes like 5 minutes.

so there are 5 wires on the fuel pump plug and im not sure what one is the fuel pump power wire. I got 12 volts at one wire only with the key on but i can start the car and the pump turns on even with that wire cut. And with the relay all hooked up and everything the pump still loses voltage(i can hear it) when the turn signal is on. Anyone know the colour of wire that i need to splice for the 2g awd rewire.

thanks

I am talking about the passenger side inspection plate. Im a mechanic trust me im at the fuel pump. The plug that goes into the top of the fuel pump definetly has 5 wires. i got one that had 12 volts and one that had 6 volts(###### the gas gauge) the other ones didnt have any voltage. ill try to get a pic of it on here. thanks for any help

Are there any updates to this? I'm having the same issue. 5 wires and the yellow with blue stripe is the only one with voltage according to my check light (I lent my multimeter out  ).

And yes, the 2g AWD has 5 wires and not two. The black with blue stripe wired doesn't even have power.
If I figure it out before I get a response, I'll post it up.

Mine is a black w/blue stripe wire.
It also doesn't have power until you crank the car up. I couldn't figure out why that wire didn't have voltage going through it with the key in the "on" position but it would have it when you crank the car. That made it a little tricky at the time...now I know. The other three wires can be a little misleading at first glance too and that's why threads like this pop up.
