I cannot find either a fuel pump relay or the fuel pump fuse.... there is nothing in my chilton that leads me anywhere, a little help please:dsm: 1990 eclipse GST FWD, 5spd
 
:dsm: no, there is no fuel pump fuse listed on that fuse block, unless it is labled under something else.... where is the relay then?
 
The ignition fuse in the little black box on the positive terminal of the battery is for the fuel pump.
 
The fuel pump gets power from the MPI relay. The MPI relay is a dual function relay that gives power to the fuel pump, and also powers up parts of the engine. It is a little gold box, that is located right under your radio, next to the floor, on the passengers side. The fuse for it is located right on the positive terminal of the battery and it is called the MPI fuse. Hope this is helpful, and good luck.
