Fuel pump relay??

Where is the fuel pump relay located?? Having a problem with the car not getting any fuel after I just installed a new Wally 190. I'm trying to find out what's going on and someone suggested I look at the fuel pump relay.

Does anyone know where the relay is? Also, how can I test the pump to see if it's bad?

There is a fuel pump test connector near the battery. I believe if you ground that connector out, it should bypass the relay and run the pump. To check pump operation, you'd want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge... there are instructions in Chiltons or Haynes manuals, pick one up.

There are actually a few Fuel Pump Relays - they're called the MPI Control relays, and there are three of them near/under the radio if I remember correctly.

One MPI relay on 1st gens, located on the passenger side of the center console below the radio and in front of the ECU on the inside of the console. The Fuel Pump check connector is a stub off the power feed for the pump so you have to apply battery voltage to run the pump.

Keep in mind that the pump is only powered when the ignition switch is in start or the car is running.
