I searched over for just a plane jane answer to my questtion but no luck.

A little background on my car
Rebuilt engine (200 Miles so far)
Ross 8.5:1 Forged pistons w/rings
ARP headstuds
Cometic HG
No Balance Shafts
Small 16g Turbo
Ported 2g Manifold
And much more

Here's my problem
I'm getting a little lean when i boost it. Data logger showing lots of knock, and a slightly lean condition. I'm pretty sure this is due to a old fuel pump. My car sat for 2 years during the rebuild, many of the electric motors thruout the car are running slow or not working at all. I highly doubt my fuel pump if up to par.

I plan to get a Walbro 255 some day, but with my current situation. I need a new fuel pump now. So here's the question

Can I run a walbro 255 with stock injectors and no fuel managment? I'm not asking if i'll see any performance gains, just wondering if its safe and if it will work? I can get the walbro alot cheaper than i can get a new stock pump

Thanks in advance

i dunno you might be shooting flames out yer ass with that big of a pump with no Fuel Managment, i would go with a 190lph that one would be better on a stock fuel system imo

I don't mean to disagree with a wiseman :shhh:, but when I put my 255 on my stock system, the car ran really rich. I had to put the MAFT back on my car to tune. But I guess each car is different--maybe it will work for you.
