Fuel pump question with FP Green/E85

So I decided I am going to go FP Green with E85 in my DSM. I'm not so sure what fuel pump to use though. I have some PTE 1200cc injectors and I know my Wally 255 is going to be about maxed out. So do I run dual 255s? or a 450 fuel pump? What are the advantages to either or? I will be pushing this turbo to 25+ PSI
 
I ran a rewired 255 on my talon with a PTE5031 and 950ccs on e85. It handled just fine. Bue yes you could run a 450 and call it a day, no need for dual pumps.

Wally 450 for sure. Much easier setup IMO. I'm in the same boat as you running a hx35 at 30psi with FIC 1150cc and a rewired wally 255 on E85. Maxing out hardcore. Had to bump up the fuel pressure to get a solid high 12 AFR at WOT.
 
I would just run the 255 and rewire if, if you havent already. It will provide more then enough fuel to max the green on e85. Punch the relief valve if you're worried about high pressure drop off. Spend the money on something else.

Lowering fuel pressure increases pump capacity, not the opposite. I would be watching for voltage drop if i was you.
 
Rewired 255 Pump will work just fine. I made big power on a 20g 440 wheel on mustang dyno same turbo as a green almost. 1350cc injectors running 28psi and never ran out of pump you'll be fine.

What were the turbo specs and IDC on those 1350's? That's the exact number I'm shooting for with e85 and a billet td06sl2. I've got FIC High-Z 1100's.
 
Good so I won't be near as close to those 1100's limits as I thought. Do you remember your spool/tq #'s? I'm going to be on a stock 6 bolt, just want a fun street car that can eat a corvette or two :)
 
A 255 is good enough for 99% of the people on here. I have a 450 and I just installed my dsm86 and be for a swap pumps I'll see how for you can push it. Buy a wally 255 its cheaper and will be all you need.

I disagree considering the 255 was never inteded for E85 use and can wear considerably with high boost E85 setups. The 450 is built knowing people are going to be running ethanol through them. Not to mention once you upgrade setups like a lot of dsmers do, you will need the 450 and it's not that much more expensive. ($80)

Well it was the only way I could get a decent AFR at WOT on a flashed tune so you're right I might have a voltage issue or another underlying issue, I'm going to be retuning once the 450 goes in and go from there.
