Here's the story, my sisters boyfriend used my car and ran it out of gas. He put gas in it, I drive it and my fuel pump starts whining real loud and I lose fuel pressure and stall. It is a 255 Walboro and I know the normal whine, this is a real loud one like when a vacuum gets clogged. I'm assuming the fuel pump is binding up. I just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue? I'm gonna pull it out and check it. Hopefully it's just clogged and I can clean it out.

A lot of the time when a car is run out of fuel it kills the pump. I would be willing to bet this is what has happened to your pump.:( You're probably going to need a new pump.:|
