fuel pump fuse 1g rewire

I have done the pump rewire on my car but my fuel pump does not come on. I have checked the harness hot wire and there is no voltage. i can not find the fuse (93 awd). Any ideas?

There should be a fuse on the rewired line right where you installed the line.

Are you talking about the new wire from battery to the new relay pin 30, or existing pump harness wire to new relay pin 86, or ??? (the existing harness wire comes from the ignition switch to the existing MPI/FP combination relay to the pump).

I am refering to the original fuel pump hot wire (black w/ stripe) I cannot find any fuses that say fuel pump.

That's because your looking for the wrong thing. The stock fuel pump power comes from the 30A Ignition fuse on the positive battery terminal.

When are you checking for power on the black/white wire. The fuel pump is only activated during cranking and while the engine is running.

thanks for all the input. I do have the car running now (thought the pump ran when the key was on), but I have a much worse problem: see "a depressing story."
