I am in the process of installing a SBR GT12 - GT30 56 trim. I have purchased a Walbro 255L HP fuel pump which will replace my 190L. I also have a B&M FPR and will be converting to MAFT:

1. Will there be any issues with idle on this fuel pump?
2. Will the B&M FPR surfice or do I have to get another FPR as the the B&M will only
increase not decrease fuel pressure?
3. What base fuel pressure should I set the FPR at?

the problem with the b&m is that it uses half of your stock fpr. Buy a bolt on afpr from one of the vendors(theyre never in stock it seems) or you can buy an aeromotive and get the correct bolt on -an adapters from FIC I believe.

Only problem I heard (like you mentioned) is that with the B&M you can only raise pressure and never lower it, so if you set it wrong then you might be screwed. I ordered the Aeromotive AFPR and liquid filled gauge off Summit and they work great with my 255 HF. I never have any idle or start up problems.

the problem also is that since the b&m uses part of the stock fpr, it still retains the stock bottleneck and returning the fuel, causing fp to be too high at lower load/rpms
