Fuel Problems.

Ok. Here it goes. I have 2 drop in fuel pumps. I pulled the line from both of them and they spew fuel our perfectly. So i moved up the line and pulled the hardline off the top of the fuel filter...Nothing came out. I removed the fuel filter and the hardline on the bottom of the filter and it shot out a great stream of fuel. So my questions are. Does fuel come out of the filter with the top hardline off, and what else could be the factors for the lack of fuel? appreciate any help.

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter to me. Can you blow through the old filter?

Yes. I can. I also replaced the fuel filter..still has the same problem.

Check the bottem fitting and make sure nothing is binding up and creating a blockage. fuel should flow through the fuel filter with the top line off.
