fuel pressure tester

alright guys, i never post on here for questions, but ive searched up and down on this forum and i cant find it......people are saying they are hooking up fuel pressure gauges/testers to read their fuel pressure

well i went out and bought one b/c ive been having problems with starting the car

my question is where do i hook it up to? i have searched up and down the engine bay, following fuel lines, taking things apart, i cant fine anywhere to hook it up, i dont have my haynes or chilton manual on me right now and i probably cant get a hold of it until next week.....well my fuel pressure tester i got from autozone has a schrader valve (bike tire valve) adapter to hook up to the fuel rail/line....ive seen them in other cars, does ours not have one? if so where and if not how would i go about hooking it up

Return that kit and get your money back. The fittings those kits supply you with don't fit anywhere on a DSM's fuel system.

Scroll down to the B&M Fuel Pressure Gauge kit. Buy that kit, use it to replace the pressure relief bolt on top of the like coming from the fuel filter.

Most folks who talk about reading their fuel pressure usually have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that has a gauge on it so they can properly adjust their fuel pressure.
