Fuel Pressure Rising When Giving Throttle!!! Normal??????

my base fuel pressure is set at 40lbs,but when i rev the car up at the T.B it jumps to 50lbs! is this normal?? if not what do i need to do to fix this problem??? thanks in advanced!!!!!

Does it spike to 50 or does it stay constant? Also are you keeping the RPMs constant or blipping the throttle.. and what boost/vac readings do you have when measuring 50?

As you know the FPR on our cars uses a 1:1 ratio of boost to fuel pressure. So setting your base FPR (with vacume disconnected) at 40psi.. you should read ~38psi at -20Hg, 40psi at 0psi, 41 at 1psi 42 at 2psi..etc.

yes, totally normal, 20in/hg is about 10psi
watch your boost gauge, when you blip the throttle it goes from 20in of vac, to 0
if your fpr is working correctly it will go from "base" to "base+10" when you blip the throttle, that's what DSM90 meant by 1:1
