Is this a good, reliable FPR for use with a 4g63t ?

I see it going for $225 + shipping on ebay. if this is the case, just go with whats proven with DSMs, the Aeromotive setup, comes with gauge and fittings and lines for about the same price.

I found this exact item for less than $100 in a local shop. Thought about buying it.

No, that product will not work with our cars. That unit has a 4:1 ratio, when increasing fuel pressure in relation to boost. You will need to get one that has a 1:1 ratio for our cars.

1:1 ratio means that for every 1 psi increase in boost, the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) bumps up the fuel pressure by 1 psi.

So if your base fuel pressure is set at 43psi, then at 10 psi of boost the FPR increases fuel pressure to 53. At 20 psi of boost, the FPR increases fuel pressure to 63.
