I want to get a FPR. Is the BM fuel pressure modifier a good chioce? I wanna keep it cheap and the aeromotive FPR is pretty expensive. So i was wondering whats so different from the 2, do they offer the same options? Will the BM fpr modifier be enough to take on a 20g turbo if I decide I want that?

Get an na regulator off of any 6bolt 4g63 motor. It will sit at a base pressure of 50 psi which will work just fine. I use it on my 2.4 liter 60 trim powerplant with no issues.

The B&M unit only allows you to run a higher pressure than you already are, not the best choice if you're trying to gain control from a larger feul pump etc....

Devicex is right...I myself bought this regulator 3 yrs ago and it was a mistake. Just save up some cash and pick up a nice aeromotive uint or check out the buschur bolt on regulator(very nice) www.buschurracing.com

Yea I read somewere that the N/a had a higher pressure. Im definitly gunna go with that if its cheaper. How much boost you running? Also if I was to get an aftermarket areomitive or aem fpr were would I set the pressure at? im looking for a max of 23-24 psi on a 20g 660 injectors, walbro 255 and an afc on race gas

Use the n/a regulator and tune the car with your maft or safc accordingly. I run 21 lbs of boost on pump gas. 50 psi base fuel pressure rises 1:1 with boost.

ok cool. so thats what i look for when getting an aftermarket fpr? 1:1 rises with boost. I wish i new what that ment. Got any links?

What kind of a link are you seeking?? If you "must" buy a regulator get the one thats been proven time and time again.

I dont run an adjustable regulator . I used to and found there is absolutely no need for one.

I wasnt able to monitor fuel pressure with the stock turbo regulator but I believe it is 1:1 also. Correct me if I am wrong.

best fpr for the money i gotta say is full throttle speed. its a direct bolt on making the install really easy and also very easy to use and adjusts pretty easily.
