I'm totally aware that many guys are running OEM lines without issue, I had to remove rotting lines and replaced both lines with 6an line. I'm running stainless braided line for the fuel and summit premium nylon hose for the return. The return line is e85 approved as I purchased it after my plans changed. Are any of you guys running standard braided line with e85 without any evidence of permeation? I purchased some aeroquip tfe 6an line to change it out for safety purposes. My plans are to run 6an lines with a walbro 450 pump rewired with 1000cc pet injectors.

I never liked normal rubber/nylon hose for 93oct even. I swear it always smelled gassy. Others may disagree. I noticed a difference when I switched to all Teflon Lined SS lines. So I run all teflon now, even though it is a bit harder to work with than . I did go overkill. OEM, non-rotted lines seem to work just fine.

Thats what i figured..... I wouldnt say overkill, id say doing it right the first time....
