Actually yes you should use the stock feed for your return. Alot of guys including myself on the DSMlink forums have done this. You were right in saying that people had issues getting their AFPR to adjust as low as they wanted using the stock return.

Thanks for helping me out there. For a minute, I thought that I was just imagining that I read a thread that someone was having problems with fuel pressure. I will do that.

Thanks,

Gil

Where are you guys getting the M14x1.5-->-6AN adapters from?

I could not find a female 14X1.5 to male -6, that is part of the reason I went with a complete new fuel system in the first place. Then as I was putting it all together I found how bad the stock fuel filter was, and that it was a good idea to upgrade the supply line anyways. BTW on my last mustang, I ran new -8 line from the tank with a 255 HP pump and used the stock return which is the same size as our dsms and I never had an overrun pressure problem, that is why I have decided to leave the stock return.

I thought it was a 14x1.25mm. I ended up buying both fittings 14x1.25 and 14x1.50 because I wasn't sure  and obviously I forgot again. I'm pretty sure it was 14.x1.25.

Needless to say, I decided to get rid of my stock fuel filter because it doesn't flow enough. Depending your application, you can just buy a 14x1.xx (.5 or .25) to -6AN adapter. They are available.
