So I did some research on here and I can't find what I'm looking for so I'll ask, So over the weekend I had 90T5I over and we worked on my car and I think we FINALLY figured out what my problem was, we did a boost leak test and it was just blowing all the pressure out of the fuel injector holes. So here is my question, I wen't to NAPA and got a seal kit to replace all the insulators/orings on all my injectors, but I got to looking at it and the tip on the end is different, its probably around an 1/8'' longer than my current ones and has one hole in the end instead of the figure 8 style on my current ones. So did I end up getting the right kit for my application or not and can I make it work? Also that little tip is the only thing that seals it to the head right or do i use another insulator on the bottom too?
Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the help guys I went on the fic website and it made me think more about how the seal kit works.. So is this how it is supposed to look?

The rubber o-ring at the end that sticks in the intake manifold, looks like that is the one that you need.

Don't get them from FIC. go to a chrysler/mitsubishi dealer and get them. They are the lower injector seals, I think it was $8 for all 4 when I got mine. They are pretty easy to cut or crack when putting them in, so be careful.

wait there is more seals?? I just got mine from Extreme, OEM mitsu, and got the upper oring and the lower bigger o-ring deal, but there is a 3rd???

That looks about right. Setup looks like mine, but I'm not running stock injectors and the FIC kit for my injectors have a different color o-ring(your 1 o-ring is red, as mine is green) Also it's $25 not much more than $8(if $25 is a lot to you then you shouldn't be modding cars, plain and simple). Spend the extra few dollars and replace all the seals and then you will have nothing to worry about down the road. You're already going to be in there so why not. It takes an extra 5 minutes.

The tip that you are referring to is a pintle cap. It's sole purpose in life is to make a clean seal with the lower injector seal and seat it well into your intake manifold. You may need to test fit your injectors with the new caps but if they fit just fine there should not be a problem.

Im running PTE injectors and one ripped so i put a OEM one in and my boost leak test passed. So you can use the FIC ones LOL... The only thing is make sure they are soft.. If not make the softby using some oil...
