Fuel Injector Limit?

Ok I have a 14 b turbo, Warlboro 225 fuel pump...and stock injectors running at 14.5 peak psi. Is this safe? Also, Shouldd i get 650cc injectors (I'm planning on running 22-25 psi soon) or bigger?

I hope you mean a Walbro 255, and if so that you have an AFPR for it, otherwise don't even bother turning the car on.

You would preferably like to keep your injectory duty to under 80% to consider it "safe," and at 14.5 PSI you would be hovering right underneath that number. If you plan on running 22-25, 550s would be enough, but might as well pay the same for 650s and have the room to grow.

Too much fuel being pumped with the stock injectors. Like the previous poster said you would need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get the correct psi for the fuel. I would suggest keeping the stock fuel system until you get a bigger turbo, with the stock 14b turbo. How soon are you planning on upgrading the turbo?

This should answer your fuel ans flow questions. And an AFPR is very necessary like these two people have said. Furthermore, 14.5psi is semi safe but until you've got an AFPR I don't suggest running anymore than wastegate pressure.

P.S. 550cc injectors are great for 14b and 16g turbos in their appropriate ranges..BUT, 650cc injectors will give you a lot more room to grow later. You'll just need dsmlink or a keydiver chip or something of the nature to keep things in check...a wideband wouldn't hurt either
