Fuel injector compatibility and cleaning.

I drive a 2G GSX, and came across some 680cc low imp fuel injectors from an 85/86 Mazda RX-7 GLS-SE. The threads I've searched for on here say that they are a direct swap with 2G turbo DSMs. However, those threads were back in 2006, so I was just seeing if anyone knew this for sure now, or if anyone has any experience using these injectors in their DSM?

Also, if they are compatible, I'm going to get them cleaned/flow tested. I found a place that cleans, replaces all seals, flow-rates, and gives you before/after paper work for just 21 bucks per injector.

Do you know of any vendors or supporting vendors who can offer similar or better services/pricing for this? Thanks everyone!

They will work but keep in mind the primary and secondary injectectors for a Wankel in the Rx-7 are of a different size.

IMHO it would be better if you Just find a set Ball and seat Fic or Pte, Delphi etc. Injectors of similar size on here used. Or contact FIC or any vendor you chose that sells Fic injectors for a new set.

Thanks for the quick response. You might be mistaken with 2nd gen RX7s. These injectors are off a NA 1st gen, which only used 2 injectors, which are the same size.

Ya my mistake I Mis-read the year as 88/89...

I'd still just pick up a set like I said before less hassle in the end for something proven to work best in our cars an Many use... .
