fuel hose question

hey. so i can rebuild my 420a engine but i can't figure out this i want to make this fuel hose shorter. Can i use this same fitting or do i have to buy a new one?

If you get a hose that is made for a push-loc fitting. That hose is designed so the ID of the hose is a pretty tight interference fit with the OD of the stem on the fitting. If you use a hose that is not push-loc i recommend using a clamp of some sort, but yes the fitting should be reusable
