I have a 99 eclipse rs(420)that’s pretty beat, on I’ve fix a lot but one of the fuel lines was cut.its very jagged and I’m pretty sure the line just needs to be replaced but I can’t find whatever part it is and I don’t know where it goes.it goes from the engine down to the firewall and I can’t find where it leads

It looks like the return line for a 95 fuel rail. Since you have a 99, your fuel pressure regulator is back by the tank, but on a 95 the regulator is on the passenger side end of the rail and a hard return line runs from the firewall back to the tank. That hose would connect to said hard line. What does the other end of the fuel rail look like?

Yeah, that’s the stock 95 fuel pressure regulator. Since you’re putting a 95 engine in a 99 body I would just get a 96-99 non-turbo fuel rail. That will have the inlet at one end and the shader valve at the other.
